We asked: what similarities does fighting fair in the RING have with fighting fair in a RELATIONSHIP?

Tony Weeks: “Make sure you read the unwritten manual so that you know all of the rules that are stated and the ones that are implied.”

Ray Mercer: “You must make sure that you understand how to communicate properly with the people in your corner because communication is how you win the fight together.”

Shawn Porter: “In the ring and at home, you need a game plan, and it’s important to have a team around you that can help hold you accountable and help you make adjustments as needed.”

Michael Nunn: “Follow the rules! Do not hit below the belt, and don’t let your anger turn so violent to where you break the rules to try to win.”

Jesse Vargas: “You need to be mindful of the moves you plan to make and think ahead of how the other person will react to your moves so that the fight doesn’t escalate where you can’t control it.”
