Long Live the King

I want to start by saluting all the kings, and all the fathers who take responsibility for leading their family.

Simply put, the King of Hearts stands for a powerful king. It might be depicted as a godlike figure or as a father. He reigns over his own distinct kingdom as its crowned head in a way that is both powerful and wise.

Kings have always been thought of as strong figures of authority who command the respect of those they govern. They are famous for their leadership skills and held in high regard as role models for the people they manage.

To all the fathers who are defining the type of man your daughter should marry and exemplifying what a real man is to your son, thank you for not running away from your responsibilities.

I want to give a special thanks to all the stepdads.

The person who decides to provide for, look out for, encourage, and love another person’s child as if it were his own. Even though you didn’t provide the gift of life, you did give the gift of yourself. We appreciate you being the father you didn’t have to be.Step fathers can be the most undervalued and unappreciated resources in a child’s life, and it can often be a thankless job.

We honor & respect you!

A Prayer for All the Fathers

Almighty God, I humbly lift all the fathers up to You. Fathers play a crucial part in our children’s lives as mentors, providers, caregivers, and so much more. They also provide our kids a solid foundation to stand on. Father, we ask that You help them be loving parents and guide them to be good role models for their children. Lord, support them in becoming fathers like You. Give them the patience and compassion to respond to situations in a caring manner. Thank You, Jehovah Jireh, for being the God of provision and blessing them abundantly. We pray to set them apart and protect them.

We pray these things in Your mighty name!

Amen
