Holiday Vibe Check

Thanksgiving’s here, which is basically the season of gratitude, right?

But if we’re being real, life doesn’t always feel super exciting or perfect just because it’s holiday time. Sometimes school feels like its dragging, friend drama is stressful, or you feel like nothing interesting is happening.

But here’s the thing: even when life feels kinda “meh,” taking a minute to count your blessings can seriously change how you view life and how you feel as your journey through it. It literally makes ALL of the difference.

Taking a minute to count your blessings can seriously change how you feel!

Counting blessings might sound cheesy, but hear me out! When you actually stop to think about all the good stuff in your life—like your favorite music, the friend who always texts back, a cozy hoodie, or that one teacher who’s actually cool—it starts to add up. I even write mine down sometimes, and honestly, it’s kind of amazing how many little things make me smile when I actually notice them. You’d be surprised how much better your day feels when you remember the good stuff instead of what’s not going right. It’s like a quick attitude shift that makes everything else easier to handle.

And then there’s the idea of being a blessing to someone else. This Thanksgiving, think about how you can help others feel good too. Maybe you volunteer somewhere, help a friend, or even just compliment someone who seems down. You never know how much your small act could mean to someone else.

Plus, knowing you’ve made someone’s day better? Best feeling ever. It makes you feel grateful for what you have, and it spreads good vibes around.

So, this Thanksgiving, try it: count the good things in your life, even the little stuff. And look for ways to help others feel happy too. Being thankful isn’t just a holiday thing—it’s something that makes life feel way better all year round.
