- Physical: The more physically fit you are, the less you will ever have to rely or depend on other people or things for your mobility -allowing you to keep your physical independence. Also, one can ever take away what it took to build a great physique because you are the only one who put in the hard work. You are the one that was in the gym everyday; you had to be disciplined with what you consumed; you lifted the weights; you remembered to take the supplements and drink the water, and you abstained from eating bad food and drinking liquor. That alone should give you a sense of freedom and independence because you made those choices on your own and no one else.
- Mental Health: Exercise has been shown to have positive effects on cognitive function and mental health. Regular physical activity promotes the release of endorphins, which can improve mood and reduce feelings of stress and anxiety. When you make decisions from a clear state of mind, you are in control of your emotions and actions, which again gives you a sense of independence, knowing that you are free from being clouded by negative thoughts with the everyday stresses of life.
- Self-Discovery: You learn about yourself in a unique way. When you’re exercising daily, you’re learning a lot about what characteristics you possess, such as endurance, discipline, dedication, and consistency. When you have the freedom and independence from gaining it through exercise, you can then apply those characteristics to other parts of your life, such as in your family, in your finances, and in the area of faith.
