The month of September is focused on the power of positivity.
Positivity is a super power and should be treated with more respect. Used properly, positivity can be the difference between winning and losing in life.
I have built my life around the power of positivity. Being a positive minded individual has served me incredibly well throughout my life. I consider myself a positively optimistic person. I am the person that sees the glass “half full” and consistently thanks God for that glass. I will admit, it can be challenging at times to maintain and manage a positive attitude in a society that promotes negativity, and in my own home, where I am constantly working to redirect the mindset of my wife who tends to view life through the vantage point of a recovering pessimist.
I believe the power of positivity start’s in the home, and I was blessed to have a mother that taught me to be positive. Positivity was instilled in me at an early age as a child. My Mom created and cultivated a home full of positivity. I was consistently spoken to with positive, loving language. I believe our lives are formed largely by our language. In L.U.V YOUniversity the “L” stands for “Language”. We teach that the language you use, and allow others to use around you, is vital to building a positive self image and outlook on life. Those early years with my mom set the tone for the rest of my life and have made it so much easier for me to build on top of what my mom founded. I have had many challenges and obstacles to overcome in my life, some of those obstacles were self-inflicted and others were out of my control. Regardless of the situation, staying positive has always been a consistent guiding force in my life. I credit a lot of my personal and business successes with being able to stay positive, poised, and maintaining the ability to find the good in almost any circumstance.
